Installations
Tuesday October 15, 2024 6:30 pm - Guest Arrival 7:00 pm - Program Begins Location: Rochester Mills - 400 Water St. Rochester, MI 48307
Join us for our annual club installations celebration! This special night is a way for us to kick off the Kiwanis New Year, which starts on October 1st, and celebrate all that we accomplished over the last year. This event is a time honored tradition for our club and always a lot of fun. We will be installing our new board of officers for 2024-2025 and inducting new members.
Tickets are $37 each. This includes a great pizza, pasta and salad buffet dinner. There will be a cash bar available as well. Cocktail attire is requested.

Detroit Uncorked

Please volunteer as we join the Detroit Wine Organization at their exclusive Detroit Uncorked event. Detroit Uncorked is a charity event to benefit Life Remodeled, which works to revitalize Detroit neighborhoods. Individuals in attendance will enjoy a strolling event where they will pair over 200 select wines with food from local restaurants.
Volunteer duties will range from assisting with registration to pouring wine and helping with other tasks. Attendees are asked to dress in business casual attire.

Halloween Hoot at Dinosaur Hill Nature Preserve

The Halloween Hoot is an illuminated Halloween walk featuring displays and special lighting along the nature trail. We will assist with making sure the event runs smoothly. Be sure to wear comfortable footwear and clothing that is appropriate for outside.

Michigan vs Michigan State Squares Fundraiser
Now - Saturday October 26, 2024
Welcome to MDYP Kiwanis' Michigan vs. Michigan State Squares Fundraiser! This event raises money for Oakland Family Services Gifts of Hope and other MDYPK initiatives. Your participation will help us support a family in need this holiday season. It's an online fundraiser, so it's super easy for you to participate.
2. Delete the number and type your name in the square(s) you want. Please include the club member's name under your name. Each square costs $10. (There is no strategy to picking a square, as numbers are drawn after all the squares are all sold!)
3. Send a check payable to "Metro Detroit YP Kiwanis" with "MI/MSU Game" in the memo to: Metro Detroit YP Kiwanis PO Box 1461 Troy, MI 48099
4. Watch the game on Oct 26. Each quarter there is an opportunity to win $125.
