Upper Deck Golf is a fun golfing event that will turn the beloved Comerica Park into a giant golf course. They will be sending their proceeds to Stand Up To Cancer (SU2C), which is funding groundbreaking cancer research. However, Upper Deck Golf needs volunteers to make sure things run smoothly! It runs from Oct 5th to Oct 8th, but we will be planning for the Afternoon or Evening Shifts for Saturday, Oct 7th. There are four positions: Player Check-in, Challenge Champion, Ticket/Golf Bag Prep, and everyone's favorite, Jack of All Trades. I will leave the position to you, but it might make sense that we sign up for that last one so we can at least try to stick together.
Volunteering does come with fun benefits, such as a free ticket to play yourself, a volunteer shirt, and best of all, free parking! If you have any additional questions about this volunteer opportunity, please contact project lead Shane Maly at shanemaly1@gmail.com.
